That would be an excellent point if Trump had not wiped $250 billion off the value of Apple this week on the world markets.

The stock value of Apple does not actually affect the real value of Apple.

I know this confuses a lot of people.

Just imagine that you own a factory worth $50 million that produces a product. You also own the IP worth $20 million to manufacture that product. You employ 1000 people at this factory.

The building and its contents has a dollar value. The IP has a dollar value.

Something happens that causes shareholders to act irrationally and sell a bunch of stock. This drives the stock price down.

You still own the building worth $50 million. You still own the IP worth $20 million. You still employ the 1000 people.

The stock price does not affect the real value of a company in any meaningful way, unless they are actively issuing more shares to raise capital.

All of that nearly makes sense, so I am going to one up you like you actually deserve it. Manufacturing was lost to globalisation that America First first suggested in the 70’s. Cheaper labour costs, cheaper build cost, cheaper tariffs in a world economy. Destination China and Taiwan.

Thereafter Jobs and cities that were the backbone of American manufacturing did what? Disintegrate before your lies.

There never was any money in America, the dollar is now the weakest link in a chain of viable trading currencies, and the only reason you can borrow trillions that outstrip the GDP of 300million souls is because America rigged its own economy in a strategic worth that far outstrips its ability to repay its worth. A pyramid scheme.

All it takes is another currency to become more sexy while plastering RubyRidge lip gloss over their economy, tickling the septum of a few confused bankers, adding tariffs where none were ever needed, and watching intently like a pedo in a school car park for the youngest and most fertile currency that is actually based on profitability.

The dollar was always a busted flush, when confronted by the ignorance of an 11 time bankrupt!
