Like the title says.

Which if any of the forums you have visited is your favorite?

Please include a reason why.

For me this will come as no surprise, but it's Brawl-Hall. To me BH was one of a kind. I had never seen the stuff that went on at Brawl-Hall. I was disgusted, but hooked at the same time. Let me explain for the 45th time.

I used to frequent a place called Chat-Avenue. It was a forum with like 50 sub forums, it was absolutely huge. I was in my first year of college and logged into the College Homework Chat forum. There I would meet with other true Freshmen and we would help each other with homework and test prep.

One night we were raided with spam, pornographic images, and were finally DDos'd or 404 off the net for a good 25 minutes. When everything came back online the morons were still there. The Iron Duke, ladr, and Distorted Views were spamming up the College Chat with Brawl-Hall symbols and their addy.

Needless to say I was furious. My cohorts from India, Japan and Europe told me to let it go, because no good would come of it if I personally went to that online hell and read those assholes the riot act. My online study group tried in vain to talk me out of going, but I was in no mood to talk.

I made an account at BH under the name of Flynn. Funny side note here, I was originally going for FlynnTheRose, I blundered and somehow only typed in Flynn and I guess never really cared to fix it over the years. Anyways, I logged into the supermall of all forums. It was like going to a big city for the very first time when one was a child. I saw sights I had never seen, read words I didn't know could be used in such ways, and of course I saw the Thunderdome. I glimpsed into The Thunderdome and a match was in progress. It was like all these posters were in there reading this "Flame Match" and then they could vote for a winner. All the while there was another thread for comments. I was scared and weirdly excited at the same time.

Remembering why I was there, I started a thread pretty much calling out everyone at Brawl-Hall, bad idea. At first only the minnows started nibbling with the usual tired and worn out remarks. I was pretty much "No YUoing" them to death. I thought I was doing pretty good until someone by the name of Dreadnaught just vaporized me in one post. It was kinda downhill from there, as some of the bigger sharks came to feed. I was logged onto BH for just under 45 minutes and logged off in tears.

Troll Valhalla, of course. It was simply the coolest post-Yahoo forum there ever was and all the coolest trolls, jagoffs and assholes from across the cybersphere called it home.

Brawl Stall was for pansy poseurs who tried to make a sport out of a literary device (flaming). We had endless fun making mock of "Flametown" and I really miss those old fun days.

The original OOTIKOF forum, with the original Knights.

We had a really good thing there for a while.
Not the biggest, not the baddest, or any of that kinda stuff.
But we had fun together and it literally felt like a big slightly dysfunctional family.

I'd take more of that over any amount of "flame" glory every day and twice on Sundays.

. If you weren't there then you were wasting your time with losers on some loser board.
Maybe you were on one-a-those flametard boards or some board featuring unshaven legs in ripped fishnets, stubbly beards and runny mascara beneath ill-chosen wigs. It doesn't matter - if you weren't there you were not on the finest message board with the greatest assemblage of posters (run by the best admin) that there ever was or will ever be.

I'll second this for second best forum. It was a very cool place with an awesome assortment of poasters. But it was kind of a nerdish board. There were lots and lots of words and many wide-ranging and in-depth debates that the lower orders of humans simply were incapable of comprehending.

That one slipped my mind. It should be listed. I have added Ootikof.

Wirecutters sucked arse. Lord Cheesus and his depictions of the type of flamers and trolls like he knew anything about the topic. The only reason Flea has fond memories of it is because Boner was there after I ran him out of BH during the Red/Blue Reg Wars.
