I honestly don't know much about gangs at all anymore. I haven't lived in a Latino majority community in many decades. I can't speak to what gangs are like now, back in the day, they were a lot more segregated than maybe they are now. That's why I didn't get in Murdock's face about it. I simply don't know. Why would you assume I do? My parents, and family in general, did everything to discourage my generation (cousins) to NOT be involved in gangs. So, guess what? We just weren't. I had one uncle that is a few years older than me, my grandparents oops kid that started showing interest in being a cholo. My grandparents decided that was it and returned to their home in Texas. That ended that bullshit.

The community I live in has about 35-40% Caucasian, 25%+ Latino and 25% Asian, only about 2% black...so yeah, I wouldn't know much about how black gangs and Latino gangs do in a place where there aren't many blacks.

I don't assume a damn thing about what was being said, so I stayed out. Figure it out. That doesn't make me complicit.
