Is eye colour change a thing too? I wasn't aware of that.
all three kids of mine were blue eyed when they were born, they are all now dark brown, except for the boy which is hazel, so yeah. all three kids were blonde when they were little all three are currently brunette, although the oldest is starting to get gray streaks.

That's so weird. The eye colour thing I mean, never come across that before.
In biology those traits are called alleles. With my family history it makes perfect sense. on my moms side they were native american and german, on my fathers side russian and dutch. so these traits are definitely possible.

Parrots are live beings that never lie

I used to foster and raise birds.

At one point I had 3 budgies, 6 cockatiels, 2 large Amazons, a Congo Grey, two Quaker parrots and my own Mitrid conure Chewy Liouee.

When one just even peeped....they would all go off and my house sounded like a jungle. Neighbors across the street even heard them lol.

I fostered a beautiful blue gold Macaw that hated everyone but me. Almost kept him. I had him for 8 months. I called him Jerry.

I was never a bird guy. Even today when my outstretched palm facing up was being pulled apart by 2 surgeons and I could feel every time they pulled a chunk of tissue out with their tools I imagined a crow pecking at the gaping wound on my hand.

So they didn't knock you out before cutting?

Hope you heal up quickly. ;)

Nope. Local only. Not even a xanax. Heck even LASIK patients are offered a xanax.

Thanks
I had something cut out of my earlobe many years back. They offered to knock me out, but I was all manly and said no. I remember them slicing the thing off. Didn't hurt, but the sound was disconcerting. Then they showed my the chunk they cut out and sent it off for testing. It was benign, thankfully.

Yeah its not about the pain although the anesthetic needles into my hand were pretty nasty. Its feeling them pulling things apart and twisting and pulling sometimes rather forcefully on things that we arent used to being grabbed and tugged from inside our body that we'd prefer be left alone.

I can imagine, but at least it's done now and your hand won't tun into a claw.

Was your surgeon a Jew or a Greek?

Yes they were both Greek. The hand specialist spoke little English. The plastic surgeon I could have basic conversations. My wife facilitated the communication.
