The monthly rate to run BF will gradually climb without a ceiling if images are uploaded directly to our hosts server... Right now its capped, because we dont allow the uploads... things like 25 members online at one time will use up bandwidth and more than likely crash us.. as we grow, Ill increase so that doesnt happen.. to give you an idea of where ours is currently at.
The number one reason I shut us down in 2015 was the bandwidth was being use up and the site would 'crash'.. images all over our server and the membership dropped leaving me w a monthly bill that didnt make sense... only way to get it up and running without 'crashing' was to add more $ bandwidth.
Bandwidth is the maximum rate of data transfer across a given path. The more we use the more it costs... uploading GIFS/Images will spike our monthly rate to the point of financial failure.
You sir are a fantastic member here and a top donor... everyone should know that. I'd open up uploads/attachments for people like you, but the rate will inevitably climb and until we get more posters/donors I cant justify.
