I had a toxic ex who loved paying for things, but then I ended up paying later.
I now have a husband who would spend his last dollar just to see me smile, but also enjoys being spoiled too. He asks for nothing.

I remember when the mustang cars when they 1st appeared when I was a Kid in the 1960s @Dove. I don't think it was ever a cheap car either. They were likely expensive to build. Person who bought them were young men on their late 20s or 30s with money. I don't think that was a car high school kids bought. The Doors Jim Morrison owned a Mustang.

With the ones that just pay as if its normal and look flabbergasted by any suggestion that as a woman you also pay? Those are winners.
If they pay but make a fuss about it, and are borderline bragging about how they always pay and seem to expect control and constant "appreciation"? Narcissist. Run.
The 50/50 guys who expect to split that bill and dont want to pay for anything and have weird opinions about it? Red Pill. Nope out. These guys will show they are whiney cunts as well and they won't be equitable partners in the relationship you build.
My guy just handles everything and I absolutely spoil him to almost ridiculous degree. He likes it. He deserves it.

We sold our trailer last fall.
Dude, I have an office upstairs, a man cave upstairs, an entire room on the main floor to store my sports equipment, my second gaming machine has the desk in the guest bedroom, two workshops, etc. etc.
My wife has never rode a motorcycle. The last time she was on a motorcycle was on the back of mine about 30 years ago. I did a little wheelie and she screamed and she has never agreed to go for a ride with me (or anyone else) since.
I might when I am older and cannot handle the speed.
Mine looked like this:
But it was a hardtop, not a vinyltop. I bought it from an old farmer for $500 and it had 50k miles on it. I drove it for 8 years and put another 120k on it.
Of course, it got maybe 10 miles per gallon on a good day, but you could blast down the interstate at 100 miles an hour and balance a nickel on the dashboard.
That is a nice car.

I've always found that the bills are spilt more or less 50/50 in longterm relationships. Healthy relationships are about give and take. There have been times in my life where I've been pretty broke and she has temporarily paid and of course vice versa. Resentment can easily build if one person (of either gender) constantly pays for everything all the time.
