Lettuce contamination at near catastrophic levels

. I'll tell you, SeaM...well, I can't tell you in full detail because I might be liable if I did, but suffice to say that foreign workers coming from backward countries have in companies I have worked for, needed to be given lessons in how to wash their hands after using the "facilities". Men and women both....no prior education regarding terlit hygiene, to the point of failed (repeated) bacterial testing of finish product, work environment, and components. It isn't racism, it's fact. What we grow up learning and doing routinely, is often very mysterious to a third worlder, and also to some lesser educated natives like the MAGA, or the underprivileged.

Dont know how to reply. I see it 100% differently. They are the work force here in the west.
Mexicans Always Get Across.

Interesting. Tell me about these toxic fertilizers? Is Trump making a profit from the sale of these fertilizers? We know profit is bads, so it must be something like that.
Your Fat hero is killing it, as you struggle. On the contrary Reggie. Profits and Capitalism are awesome. Buy any of Fatso coins? They’re aimed at saps like……

. You can see it how you like. You can even be correct about the need for certain foreign laborers, but that doesn't exclude what I wrote from fact...which it is....fact.

Again, I don’t see it your way. I don’t believe it’s fact at all. Latinos are the main Construction, Automotive, Hospitality, Transportation, Maintenance, Agriculture, work force here. We cannot do with out them. Ask those that happily employ them. Finally it has nothing to do with lower wages. Most are doing very well. Ever ventured out west? I also believe some of what youve posted is assuming and racist.

. Look, SeaM. I lived "out west", I've also worked in manufacturing for 40 years with people from all corners of the world, and what I wrote is factual, and it has nothing at all to do with who does what labor-wise in the US.

Oh, lolz "it has nothing to do with lower wages". I won't say it's all it has to do with, because it also has to do with having a compliant workforce who are not in a position to stand up for themselves in the workplace (or don't believe themselves to be), and to whom worker protections and benefits need not be paid, but the fact is that labor costs are the most controllable cost in running most businesses so lower wage is always a major factor. Again, indisputable fact, based on my vast experience in the field. You can trust me on this. Oh, and once someone starts leaning back on racism as a denial against demonstrable fact, I know their argument has crumbled. Facts aren't racist, people who scream RACIST about everything are.

Im curious. Explain your vast experience.
. LoLz, dude, what does the fact that I have worked with people from all over this great wide world for 40 years and witnessed the result of poor toilet training's impact on bacterial contamination of product not explain? Did you miss that or just not understand its meaning?

I don’t Understand. Your referral to toilet traiNing is assuming and racist. Naturally you’d include all Latinos.

No I wouldn

. No, I wouldn't include all Latinos, and your racism is showing. I wrote that I've worked with people from all over the world. Why are you so fixated on hispanics? Some of the worst I've ever encountered were Haitians. Are they Latinos?
. When a company fails testing for bio-contamination from human feces and identifies individuals and behaviors you want to call that racist? Are you fucking kidding? You see there is no "assumption" or bias involved. There is only fact, and the fact is that many people coming from some parts of the world to work in the US have poor hygienic practices for whatever reasons there may be. These are things I have been witness to and aware of. That includes very directly witnessing the fact that some would leave the men's room w/o washing their hands after taking (or leaving as the case may be) a shit. These people having been ID'd through testing then needed to be toilet trained. That's what I wrote. That's racist? No it isn't. You are racist for disputing facts which your personal experience may not make you aware of and because YOU have a bias or axe to grind.
. I also wrote that certain classes of Americans also have poor hygienic practices. Maybe go back and read what I've written with a clear and unbiased mind.

In a respectful way I disagree. You may of had a few bad apples, and you label a whole group of people. In my mind it’s racist

and you label a whole group of people. In my mind it’s racist
You might be right if I had ever "labeled a whole group" anything.
. The fact is exactly what I said it is, and the reason is that things, as I have already stated, that we grow up learning and knowing are not as commonly known and practiced elsewhere. Much has to do with economic status, education, and broader culture. Some of the most intelligent and educated foreign workers I have known are from the subcontinent, but you seem to give a pass to the likes of Jacklyn and Adminced when they 'label"people, ones who may or may not have ancestry from the region or ever lived there, as streetshiters. Now can you explain to me why you as a completely objective person want to jump on me and make false and unfounded accusations, but look the other way when the aforementioned openly racist posters talk dirty about " a whole group"?

Let me axes you something. Do you know what national character is? You understand the concept...it never applies to every individual, just to tendencies which define culture. Would it be racist to say slants (okay, give me a minute to enable the comedy font there) are disposed to valuing education, or is it simply factual?

. Here's another thing to consider while on the subject of fecal contaminants in agricultural products. From the beginnings of humans growing food in fields, dung, feces, poopies of all kind (that including the people's) have been used as fertilizer. You think that that just magically stopped because you don't like the thought that the workers themselve might still be fertilizing the fields or have less compunctions about handling human waste than the average 1st worlder? Well....nope.

Poverty is something that's almost never talked about in the US. It's why people are so terrified of socialism.

That is absolutely NOT true. At all. Just because we dont agree on what you think is a solution doesnt mean no one talks about it.

The problem is that some of you are so stuck on what you THINK will "solve" it and anytime someone challenges that and points out the unintended consequences of those policies and how it can and probably will make poverty vastly worse, you shut down the conversation, name call and just claim no one cares.

Meanwhile the Christian conservatives you hate so much get together and come out of their own pockets and open ip shelters, outreaches and programs to help people get off tjr streets and on their feet and you argue for the government taxing us more and having more control. Two things they already dont manage well.
