Some kinda gun nut, eh? Fortunately I happened by and am willing to help..
Where are you so we can get about half of those into my car..
I've always liked the folding bayonets on them.

Not Damascus on this one, she's steel but just to be on the safe side maybe I won't shoot high brass 00 buckshot.:ThumbsUp2:

The old 2 gauge "punt gun", imagine the recoil lol. I'm used to seeing pics of them bolted to row boats but according to wiki, they were outlawed because ONE shot would drop between 50 to 90 ducks and almost put them on the endangered species list.

Although I don't hunt, I love shotguns because a 12 gauge is basically .73 caliber shoulder fired artillery and my go-to for home protection. My first round is a 3" magnum with #3 buck as the balls are .25 cal and won't over-penetrate walls and floors so less collateral damage worries and no hesitating to adjust your firing line.
Imagine, 47 balls of THAT to greet the intruder who dared darken your inner doorway to a firing squad!

I have a pic so I might as well introduce him.
Meet, Oblivion.

I'll probably put a folding Knox stock on him that has a heavy gauge spring inside the grip to reduce recoil because the difference was night and day. Blowing shit up for kicks (melons, garden gnomes, etc.) with high brass 3" Magnums gets old fast but my cousin's Knox stock felt like a push in the shoulder rather than a punch.

First of two 10/22 carbine projects are done.
High-viz fiber optic iron sights and a target trigger kit took the mushy 6.5lb stock pull to a crisp breaking 1.5lbs and averages 1.2 MOA from the bench.
The fore grip works as a great mono-pod and I keep the allen key for scope removal plus a penny in there to adjust the scopes windage and elevation turrets. Inside the grip is a Hoppes bore snake and a small bottle of oil, one pull through and the cleaning is done.

I've already started on the second which will be like the above but a more compact "pocket carbine", SBR with threaded muzzle and a micro 3MOA red-dot optic on the rail. Basically, this.

So I said to wifey that I found a "Dirty Harry" gun online. A Smith and Wesson model 29...I told her that this one has a 5.5 inch barrel and Dirty Harry had a 8 3/8th inch barrel.

She looked at me and said.. "Your's is too short"..

I think she told me this before.

Bad news... slipped on some ice when getting out of my truck and fucked up my back when I hit the running boards. :(

Oh damn man, I almost did that last week. I hate ice.

Hope you have a speedy recovery, just some bruising or worse?
