What's not moral is using the state to take wages from other people to accomplish that.

Conservatives run the vast amount of outreaches and charities. They donate more and volunteer more time. They adopt more.

Why take more of their wages that they would normally have used to directly help others with it and give it to the state to blow of partisan bullshit, Joe? That just doesnt make sense.

We have enough years of witnessing the failures of the welfare state. We should know better and wish to do better.

We already have state insurance programs(that Obam as care messed up), food assistance, section 8 assistance, WIC programs.....and the minute moms start to make more money, they lose so much of their benefits it throws them back in gutter.

Welfare programs as they are right now, will penalize moms who start to make too much.

So let's say a struggling single mom gets section 8, daycare, food and Medicaid...gets a dollar raise at work. She now loses childcare and section 8. She literally cannot work. Ends up in a shelter back on full benefits.

It doesnt allow people to get OFF.

So we should work on solving that before using the state to do OUR moral responsibilities. Government isn't moral. Stealing isnt moral. Penalizing vulnerable citizens over a dollar raise isnt moral.
