I'm retired, and I'm glad and happy. But it's 06:00 and all the shipyard guys are headed to work, and I wish I was too.

There's a bird nest in the eaves of my porch. It's been there for years, but there have been no renters.

My $3 porch chair became fed up with my fat ass. The welds failed all at once, and the seat separated from the legs. The bad part is I tumbled on my ass. The good part is I didn't tumble through the window.

I bought my first computer in 1997, ostensibly as a glorified typewriter. Armed with an AOL disc, a 1200 baud modem, and a lot of bourbon laced coffee, I started this innertube adventure, lying on the floor with keyboard and monitor. I've been a troll, a warrior, a geek, and I've learned a lot about myself and others. I met the Goddess on line, and I've have enjoyed many lasting friendships with dear souls worldwide.

I don't judge anyone based on a few thousand bytes on my screen, but I don't suffer assholes either.

Pork chops are the best! Quick fried in butter so there's a crusty, crispy goodness, with sauteed portobellos and steamed asparagus.... Now I'm hungry, and dinner isn't until 2100.
