Oh I looked into the specious accusations by Hawley, Cruz, Cotton, Graham and Blackburn.

Round 1 of the debate I won at home: She is no more lenient than anyone else. She was on a bipartisan sentencing commission.

'The commission

to Congress that existing sentencing guidelines on crimes involving images of child sexual abuse “fail to differentiate among offenders in terms of their culpability” and result in penalty ranges that “are too severe for some offenders and too lenient for other offenders.”

"Under existing guidelines, there is no mandatory minimum sentence for possession of such material, but receipt, transportation or distribution carries a five-year minimum. (Production carries a 15-year minimum.) The commission

that Congress align the penalties for possession and receipt, and unanimously recommended a mandatory sentence of less than five years for both crimes."

"The recommendations were in line with a 2010 survey conducted by the commission, in which

polled said they believed the mandatory minimum sentence for receipt of images was too high.

Andrew C. McCarthy, a conservative writer and former federal prosecutor, characterized Mr. Hawley’s criticisms of Judge Jackson as a smear."

“It is not soft on porn to call for sensible line-drawing,” he wrote in a

. “Plenty of hard-nosed prosecutors and Republican-appointed judges have long believed that this mandatory minimum is too draconian.”

In fact, three Republican-appointed judges served on the commission with Judge Jackson when the recommendations were released: Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, Judge Ricardo Hinojosa of the Southern District of Texas and Judge Dabney Friedrich, who was appointed to the District Court for the District of Columbia by President Donald J. Trump."

Round 2: What about her letting the rapist of a 3 year old child off?!

*Sigh*
Facts: Leo Weekes did rape his 13 year old niece
He was sentenced...but NOT by KBJ

She sentenced him to 3 months for a PAROLE violation, not rape. The prosecutors wanted 6 months. He did get out and molest again. I postulate that he would molest a child upon being released after the entire 6 months of serving time for the parole violation.

She has been smeared and her record twisted by partisan hacks that are looking to see their donor dollars increase...it's campaign time all the time...

Say! Tell me what the Leftist vermin America-hating Registered Democrats are saying about Kajinka's refusal refusal to answer the question regarding the Natural Rights that our Creator imbued each and every one of us with and which is kinda one of the fundamental ideals upon which our Republic was founded. I was reading that she refused to answer that portion of a written question from one of those evil cons.

Do you think we all have Natural Rights, Lily?

Do you think now that she's on the supreme court she should be entitled to a few tax payer funded biology classes ?

you know, just in case something like an abortion case reaches the supreme court and some smug attorney uses the word "woman" in his filings instead of some vermin democrat approved lingo like "birthing person"

might be important

The Big mistake yer founding fathers made was to allow lifetime appointments to the USSC @Reggie_Essent.

And to allow political parties to choose them.

I think they should do away with allowing judges to sit on the court for life

Could be. Hopefully when Trump gets back in, he gets 3 more pics tho. I'm hoping some of those liberal skags drop dead. The ONLY mistake the founders made was not openly declaring Jesus is The Son of God in the Declaration.

Whether it's a liberal Democrat or a conservative Republican I think lifetime appointments are a bad idea.

The American people are the ones who should be able to decide and to set term limits on them.

But hey...its yer country...Lokmeer!

Well, we won't be hearing anything scathing criticizing of how backwards lifetime appointments are until it is a conservative doing the appointing again

Actually, a bit. However thats not what I meant. We saw how they were treated during the process and Jackson had it very easy by comparison. Liberals everywhere flipped their shit continuously. Still do.

She wasn't accused of inappropriate behavior by anyone. Had she been, it would have gone much worse. And Barrett is clearly in line for overturning Roe V Wade.

I agree. It was dumb. But, upon review of the evolution of the SCOTUS, it has always vile, filthy, disgusting and traitorous Registered Democrats that have perverted and corrupted the entire institution, beginning with the evil Franklin Delano Roosevelt's attempt tom pack the Court with his chosen communist sympathizers and growing ever and ever more politicized since then.

Registered Democrats are scum and ruin everything.

Now, my question: Do you believe that each and every free citizen of the United States possess the Natural Rights endowed to each of us by God, or do you agree with Kajinka Brown Jackson that you are not sure and maybe our rights are given to us by the State?

I disagree with your premise.

Now, I believe our rights are not endowed by supernatural being or by the State. They are natural. It is my belief that freedom is the natural state of humankind.
