I worked in a psychiatric in-patient unit in London for years and we had many patients who were having sever Agitated Depressive episodes half way through gender reassignment even though they had spent years in therapy to "prepare" EVERYONE of them hated the sex they were because of some negative life experience with that same sex roll model and fantasized that the "other sex" had it better or was better. They ALL were being treated for "agitated depression" because they found out reality was very different to their fantasy. I was shocked when I first started working there that the reason the NHS does the procedures is simply as a " suicide prevention strategy" I was chatting to the Chief Psychiatrist one day and asked him " Do all these years of therapy and multiple mutilation surgeries actually help the person mentally? He said, "Not usually, it just redirects them into being miserable in other ways ". ....What a mess!

It’s a huge mess and this is why many parents are opting to allow them to transform as children in an attempt to avoid the mental anguish that plagues the adults.

This issue is as old as time. I applaud Caitlin for coming out when she did. Their movement for equality needed her and her contributions have been unparalleled.

As much money as teachers unions send to democrat causes (its beyond disgusting) they may as well be privatized because democrats OWN them and own the teachers unions.

And the over all academic scores are just going down. We have kids graduating who are not even literate. Detroit schools are just places for kids to get beat up and raped. Its seriously BAD. Pontiac barely has schools....theyve shut down several. And the few schools they have, the teachers are so limited in how they manage the classroom that the kids run amok, cuss at staff, throw desks, and get sent back to class with a sucker. All the good teachers are quitting....and it's not entirely about the pay - they are fed up with how the schools themselves are ran.

I have absolutely no problem with School Choice. It should have always been like that. Parents should have the option of sending their child to whatever school they chose and that tax funding should follow the child....not go to the teachers unions and to democrat causes. They are already privatized. It just isnt openly said. These kids don't get SHIT from the money flowing in from the state AND federal government. They cant even get basic school supplies.....parents donate it or the teachers buy it.

The kids are being neglected, having mental health crisis at rising levels, they face extreme bullying and now sexual harrassment and assault (they now allow boys to go into girls locker rooms), we have unchecked predatory teachers and schools who refuse to implement common sense safety measures in the case of an active shooter. The Oxford shooting NEVER should have happened......the kid announced to the internet he was going to do something and even had a countdown to it. So many students reported this kid. Several skipped that day because they all saw the countdown.

It's a mess, Cas. The parents want School Choice. And inner city parents want it. The problem is.....they dont understand when they see democrats screech about "privatizing schools" or "defunding public" t what is being opposed is allowing parents to send their child to a school of their choice and have the funding follow them. They are led to think they will be trapped in the same shit school only worse because no funding. That's NOT what this is.

Democrats are very very deceptive in how they word things. And they lie.....like how they are claiming Tudor Dixon is gonna make abortion a felony and "lock up nurses and doctors".....when the governor doesnt have that ability at all to legislate. That's the people who decide laws. Even if she wanted to she could NOT do that. It would be struck down by the MI supreme court within days. It's a lie designed to influence ignorant and low info voters to vote for Whitmer.

When you hear American democrats making claims like this...really look into it because they twist and lie about pretty much everything.

School staff can now legally take it upon themselves to "socially transition" a student....to use a different name and pronouns, and to intentionally and actively hide it from parents. If a kid is struggling and suicidal and confused they can HIDE that from parents. They refer kids to therapists who "affirm" them and in some states if the parent does NOT "affirm" their minor childs "gender identity" or sexuality....the state can remove that child, charge the parent with child abuse and get the kid put on puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. Its batshit insane and dangerous. They completely destroy a family and a childs life for a fucking political cult religion....because that's what this trans queer theory shit is. A religion.


Bringing all this politcal hate and hostility and pushing it on children and shitting on parents and actively trying to stop communities from improving education for the kids or stopping them from having options is easily one of the saddest and most hateful thing (besides supporting the riots) I've seen from establishment party supporters. They dont care at all about these kids or families.

Today through TV and the internet kids are already getting a sex education like it or not. While some parents are sheltering their kids from sex subjects, you can bet your last dollar other kids know about sex already and spreed it to their peers.

I'm aware that kids pick things up and spread it. But that doesnt mean activist teachers should come in taking advantage of the students and teaching shit like "abortion is a valid option for unwanted pregnancy" and "gender is assigned at birth and isnt always correct". Or that they should be exposed to graphic sexual material in schools like the book Gendet Queer and a whole list of other adult reading materials.

And teaching subjects through the lense of CRT is disgusting. It's to the point where people who support CRT now equate with history. It's not history. They either really fo not know what it is or they are liars....but they definately dont care about the kids.

The reason schools are being fought over is because our opponents are abusive and are using whatever means they can to gain power. He used to be much more moderate and common-sense, but since his nervous breakdown, he's gone a bit nutty and off to some Right Wing Fringe. ie - he appears to be sympathetic and supports Vladmir Putin who has murdered thousands of innocent people in the Ukraine War. The conflict has also led to the mass rape of Ukrainian women and girls. The War has also killed little children. Are you off your rocker, Jordan Peterson?

Could you provide where Jordan Peterson supported any sort of war or slaughter of innocents? Because that's ludicrous to anyone who actually listens to what Peterson says.

And for the record I do NOT subscribe to so called genuine gender disforia. It is what the mental health nurse said in my opening post, a fantasy..... and in some people it's fausse or faux.
