I see what you are saying. Unfortunately, if it were to be a free for all in regard to posting politics "whenever" and "wherever they want," it would turn into a cluster fuck with politics permeating in every nook and cranny and civil discussion would be non-existent.
I am not disagreeing with you, but we have poster's here who would fuck it up for everybody. If some people could control themselves, I could see your suggestion working. Believe me, I would love if Bastard Factory himself opened the forum up to all kinds of discussion and so that I wouldn't have to chase around the few non-compliant members that think they're smarter than the system.
I believe that all of us here at BF have tried to make this place an "equal playing field" for all, but we're not going to please everyone. You have good suggestions Lotus and you're a good poster, so it kind of pains me to see you getting frustrated. Believe me, I get frustrated too. But don't let that discourage you from being the person you are. Maybe someday BF can be that utopia of free speech we've all been wanting.
