As long as there ain't maggots on them, they should be fine.I'm making braised mid loin lamb chops in a dutch oven with rosemary, garlic, tomatoes, onion, celery, red wine, and a beef stock.... set to simmer real low for 2-3 hours in the oven.
I overshopped last week on the perishables, ran out of fridge space, so fired up an Engel camp fridge.... then subsequently forgot the chops were in there closer to the bottom out of sight.
They passed the sniff test.
A splash of vinegar and prolonged cooking renders maggots a delectable treat....As long as there ain't maggots on them, they should be fine.
