What's for Dinner Tonight?

I'm making braised mid loin lamb chops in a dutch oven with rosemary, garlic, tomatoes, onion, celery, red wine, and a beef stock.... set to simmer real low for 2-3 hours in the oven.

I overshopped last week on the perishables, ran out of fridge space, so fired up an Engel camp fridge.... then subsequently forgot the chops were in there closer to the bottom out of sight.

They passed the sniff test.

As long as there ain't maggots on them, they should be fine.

Drove my Miata up to Pt Arena yesterday. So far the freshest fish and chips ever. Ling cod is by far the best. Toured the old Light house. A beautiful September day in NorCal.

Going to do a big greasy barbecue fry up... chorizos followed by lamb chops, rump steaks, corn on the cob, potato slices, beetroot, broccoli, onions and garlic.

I'll be making a roast pumpkin, fennel, and onion soup with ginger, coriander, and yogurt. And probably pizzas with leftover kransky's, ham, and some mushrooms and kalamata olives.

Speeding it up, Im hungry and on a diet of eating every 2- 3 days , did some research and besides the Rothchilds or whatever making us belive we need to eat 3 meals a day and incorporate all the basic food groups is a scam

I don't feed my dog every 3-5 days... she's fit.
Dude its not that hard really, humans were never meant to eat that much no matter what it is, no wild animal does and when we didnt have such an abundance humans didnt either, its a luxury and unhealthy especially of its carbohydrates

I underfed my dog this morning.... but had a bunch of bacon rinds I cut off a kilo of bacon I was frying. So she got half of those and a few cold chips in the fridge.

She'll be right for two days...

Activity should be a factor though , keeping them lean and mean is one thing , but active dogs require a little more.. IMO

Dont want them to stray over it

We have been eating mainly low calorie, high protein and fiber.

So dinner tonight was baked and seasoned chicken in a salad made up of greens, cubed squash, red onion, avocado and mixed with plain low fat green yogurt and hot sauce. I also added nutritional yeast and hemp hearts.

Its fall so I have been obsessed with sweets but I dont want to eat like shit so I have finding healthy ways to make dessert. This is incredible. Its frozen raspberries blended with two rice cakes, greek yogurt, and monk fruit sweetener and its topped with blended banana and cocao powder, vanilla and monk fruit sweetener. I layered it like this and put it in the freezer for a few hours.

To be fair, humans also died of things like skervy and rickets (?).

Malnutrition killed people.

But yes I agree we dont need to eat as much as we do.

It isnt how much you eat, its what you eat. If you are only eating every 2 to 3 days you are gonna drop your blood sugar and slow your metabolism. You will eventually start having medical issues.

Eating is how your body gets energy and functions properly.
