You see, when a noob or more experienced drinker is trying to decide which bottle of whisky to buy, they compare them side-by-side; both labeled as being 10 years old, like my newest husband.

It becomes an easy choice for the comparer because gold is much prettier than say, Springbank - my favorite unpeated whisky, who knows better than adding sugar. The most popular single malt whisky is The Macallan. Nice steak houses always have that one on the drink menu. e150a. Yup. Sure does look pretty and doesn't taste bad, they're just cheaters (like me). If you only have a snifter of it after finishing your meal, good on ya, I guess.

You wanna keep drinking it or another golden spirit? Tomorrow awaits, dumbass. The best way to get drunk on whisky (Islay brands #1 fan) is to pleasantly enjoy having a drink of your best. One, maybe two. Put it up, it's both fine and expensive if you know what to buy. From there, you reach for Black Bottle, which is, sadly, a goddamn blend - like the demons at Johnny Walker who claim that they add the fantastic Talisker single-malt to their piss.

Back to reality, Black Bottle is only $20 and blends peated whisky from Islay - the capital of the drinking world. Is Black Bottle great? Fuck no, it needs more peat smoke. Is it totally acceptable if you're drinking Home Alone like I love doing? Fuck yes. Ask the man who knows his shit at whichever liquor store you visit every day. He'll tell you what you just read...
