In public housing though they are incredibly wasteful. Even if a property is really nicely appointed they tip everysingle thing right down to the carpets. You get 4 walls and that's it.

I've moved a dozen friends into this type of accomodation and it's the same everytime.

There is but it's not government owned anymore. They have housing associations which are basically just businesses charging market rate for property rental
