I felt the same here. "junk" food in the US was a lot more damaging to the body than hereThe thing abotu bread in PT is the flour is not the same as in the US. It is lower in gleuten. Not gluten free, but I convince myself it's OK because it's not as bad.
I hardly ever have heartburn here, but over there, every time I had pizza that wasn't made from scratch, I had it.
And that's because my ex-wife used to buy Brazilian flour instead of the American brands.
