I use something similar every year my friend
Too many nutrients for sure. Would your region also be prone to algal blooms? But it's still easier to raise the pH than lowering it, I don't like adding N to the soil, the runoff kills the streams and brooks.
I've already noticing an increase in algae in the river. It usually goes away once the rainy season starts, but the green stuff sticking to the rocks is all over these daysToo many nutrients for sure. Would your region also be prone to algal blooms?
We’ve had a few of the same issues here. Just last month there was a massive amount of dead fish washing up. The local council is calling it a “natural” occurance! Yeah right!I've already noticing an increase in algae in the river. It usually goes away once the rainy season starts, but the green stuff sticking to the rocks is all over these days
People are growing a lot of fruit and vegetables too, so they've been using a lot of manure and compost. And a lot of it ends up in the waterways, unfortunately.
