They're not creating ballots just taking a close look at some of them. Oregon works pretty much the same way. Oregon has been 100% mail in ballots over 20 years, extremely few problems.

I voted mail-in here in Arizona. Every candidate I voted for was a write-in, of course. I voted U.B. Trippen for President.

@Courier Six. Honest question: if you want to move policy forward, at some point don't you have to choose a party? A non-vote doesn't really accomplish anything.

Sure, you might get a "protest" vote, but it seems to me that participating actively gets more accomplished. Maybe not immediately, but over time.

"IND" is legit. It allows you to vote however you like whenever you're in the ballot box.

I don't think any choice is illegitimate. Not voting at all and complaining might be the exception.
