I've always used consoles to play my games. I don't know much about pc gaming.

I prefer PC for two reasons: 1. Modding, and 2. Keyboard and mouse are just way more precise than my stupid-ass thumbs.

You should play GTA 5. You won't be disappointed.

I do like my action stuff in first-person, that was the big hype about GTA V for me.

I had to mod GTA IV to play it in first-person, and that was... janky.

I remember playing that. I found the gamma to be a little less bright than I wanted.

GTA V is much brighter.

I'm gonna start with the base config for the X1, then add more to it later as budget allows. Bump it up to 96GB of memory, 12TB of storage. Then put Windows 11 Pro on one drive, Fedora on the second, and use the third as shared media storage for both OSes.

Three drives. Drive 1 has Windows, Drive 2 has Linux, Drive 3 has pirated movies so I can watch them no matter which OS I'm using. lol

Plus, if I find a game that's too much for the onboard graphics, it's got a port in the back into which I can plug an external graphics card. There's the big hype for that machine.
