There was a study conducted that found that the atomizer coils in ENDS (Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems) output toxic levels of heavy metals. When the methodology of the study was looked into? The researchers were dry-firing the coils (meaning, no eliquid was used in them) and at voltages 3-5x higher than any battery normally used with them could output. IOW, the study was a total sham.
