Then the next one in series from the same author has you helping an Al Swearingen -like character establish a saloon/whorehouse, in the course of which you end up dealing with a drug-and-sex-fueled cult whose leader is an hilarious charlatan.

An example of the Legion's villainy: If you go to their war camp atop Fortification Hill just on the eastern side of the Colorado, you may encounter a young girl, who has been enslaved, who had concealed her teddy bear from her captors. I always get it back for her from the man who took it away from her. After giving it back to her, I always make sure the man who took it is the first one I kill.

I always take Boone and Russell when I cleanse that camp. Boone because his wife and unborn child were sold to the Legion; he couldn't rescue her. So he put her down to prevent her spending the rest of her life as a Legion slave. Russell because he had been a Legion slave as a kid and deserved payback on them.
