Three out of four, but four out of four would be 'good' in almost anybody's opinion. I do like the idea of a live-aboard catamaran sailing vessel, though. Not so keen on the tropics.

Precious metals, certainly. Though their value fluctuates, they do at least have intrinsic trade value, unlike fiat currency.

Catamarans suck. Monohulls are the way to go. How would you know, anyway?

They look a good deal more stable than monohulls, and they appear to ride higher in the water, which probably makes them much easier to pilot near shorelines.

I'd like to think that in some alternate universe, I grew up to become a smuggler and pirate. In such a vocation, I'd want a catamaran that would let me get closer to shore without running aground, so as to pick up illicit goods and so forth.
