We just went on daylight savings time last week. I'm not used to the long days yet. 8:15 and still somewhat light. I thought it was earlier.

I did rescues last 15 years. I want a pup that's been loved and with its mom enough. If it's going to be neurotic I want it to be because of me, not someone else's craziness.

I still volunteer at the shelter.

I got the most loving, smart, and cooperative dog I've ever had from a shelter. I still miss that boy every single day.

A friend of mine has a rescue dog @Jack & it has a lot of issues. It's almost like taking a homeless person off the street & getting them to live with you thinking everything will work out just fine. Wouldn't get a rescue dog.

I did too. I also got a dog that was neurotic, willful and uncontrollable as well. The Tibbie we rescued was the love of my life. I'll NEVER luck out like that again which is why I'm getting another pup in that breed.
