Oh, eyah. There are restrictins here sort of based on what was already on the land. Sometimes you need special permission to make the foundations of structures bigger than the originals, or to have more structures. Areas of Portugal are divided into cameras, and let me just warn you, the ease of getting permissions varies from camera to camera, @The Scoundrel.

Cost of plane tickets totally depends on where in the US. Lisbon to NYC is probably the cheapest, and that depnds on time of year. Maybe as low as 600 euros if you're lucky/

Yes. There is a lot of land here with empty commercial buildings. Some of the buildings are very cool.

I mean, 600 can seem like a lot of money to some. Its reasonable for an overseas ticket, but still, if you're living paycheck to paycheck, it's lot/

I ahve a friend who's flying to San Diego soon, and her ticket cost 1600.
