That was the problem; as we've learned since, the vax mitigated or even nullified symptoms, but it didn't stop those who received it from being carriers.
When the research was coming out about Covid, I decided to work on my cardio and I started jogging with my dog 4 times a week. I would rather be fully equiped to fight the sickness than take an experimental mRNA vaccine with unknown side-effects. But hey, just my opinion. My sister who has a Masters Degree in Molecular Biology got vaxxed.
I actually think I probably had Covid in January of 2020. I had flu-like symptoms and then so did my wife. This was before anyone was talking about Covid. The city next to mine (we are twin cities, compeletely connected) is full of Chinese students...many of whom go to China during the Christmas break in December. So I could see the virus being in my area early when those students brought it back with them...
