I love thanksgiving

We have a friend here who does a big Thanksgiving dinner. We didn't go. I felt liberated. We met some other friends in a restaurant, and the whole time I was thinking, "I am so glad I am not doing Thanksgiving." I had Portuguese class yeterday morning. I was the nly American in there. Everyne was like, "Oh, isn't today an American holiday?" They were all telling me Happy Thanksgiving? and I was like, "Oh, thanks. I'm just glad I'm not in the US."
