The weather does seem to be getting increasingly more extreme during the seasons, here at least. I can't talk for those outside the UK

Same here, winter lingered until late September this year and in October we still had a cold spell for a good 10 days

Then winter kicks in, and summer/warm weather doesn't start again until April or May.

Yeah, we get a lot of snow...a lot melted today but we still have about a foot deep on our lawn...deeper near the fences.
