Seattle rental buildings all have large laundry rooms in the basement which makes it convenient for the tenants. That’s where my apparent was.

I’m a historic architecture buff. The code section wasn’t inclusive of a window when the building was built in the 20s. It was for a single bed. You weren’t going to fit anything more than that and a small dresser in there tbh. The bathroom was full size and the kitchen was tiny with a built in table, a full sized fridge and a tiny 4 burner apartment stove. Perfect for one person.

My mother is a real estate agent and investor. My fiancé is a licensed contractor who does commercial/residential builds.

I was raised in the second English 'New Town' (1836). 3 beds in the original Roman or Iron Age town are now priceless
