Not everything shakes violently in an earthquake...some things, believe it or not, don't move at all. Maybe the dresser was old and wobbly...I don't know.

I think it makes sense to rule out everything else first. It might well have been a paranormal event. It's just not clear that it was.

I've been high a few times in my life. I know my perceptions were colored by the weed.
