Morning musings of Rowan; I woke up in a bad mood today, which, for those of you that know me well, is quite unusual. I know the source of the funk, which in some ways has worsened it- as we all know I'm way overdue to move on. I decided to fight back by making curry with the only real weapon I have- this gorgeous stone mortar and pestle gifted to me by Commissioner Kaety Jacobsen. I toasted cumin, mustard, and coriander seeds over low heat until fragrant, crushed them in said mortar, and blended them with tumeric, fenugreek, ginger, black and white pepper.
