But remember when you enlist I wont be your competition. Some hulking muscle bound 22 year old will be. Or possibly an ex Olympian or US varsity athlete who couldn't make the cut in the NFL. That'll be the calibre of your competition Lex.

I can only speak for myself.
I was in the USAF so unless they've changed drastically I'm confident I could do basic training again if I had to.

I was never *terribly* out of shape but I'm in better shape now than I was even a year ago.
A video? No.
I get my exercise in other ways so I haven't done a literal pushup in quite some time but I just knocked out 27 first try.

I have seen people do "push ups" in videos lately and many people go down about 1/3 of the way. It is probably good exercise, but not really a push up.
