ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A shootout at a busy bar in St. Paul, Minnesota, early Sunday left a woman dead and 14 other people wounded, authorities said.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight at the Seventh Street Truck Park bar. Police said preliminary information indicated several people fired gunshots.

Police arrested three men who were being treated at a hospital for injuries from the shootout. All three will be booked into the Ramsey County jail once they are discharged, the St. Paul Police Department said in a statement on Twitter. They have not yet been charged.

The Seventh Street Truck bar is in an entertainment district just south of the Xcel Energy Center, where the NHL's Minnesota Wild play. Linders said he doesn’t recall any recent previous calls for police service to Seventh Street Truck Park bar.

“It’s just not on our radar as a spot where we see this type of thing,” Linders said. “We don’t see this type of thing anywhere.”

The issue with this is that you guys(lefties, establishment loyalists) only really look at what corporate media is "reporting" and you see it through a partisan agenda and refuse to see it any other way.

You are only willing to see this your way. You arent going to look at other differences between America and Portugal. You've decided that the American Constitution 2A is the reason why we have mass shootings. Because MN already HAS gun regulations.

All regulations do is stop law abiding citizens from having guns.

Criminals intent to shoot people are not stopped by gun regulations. All that happens is people will have illegal guns. Like a black single mother who cannot afford the regulation requirements or afford days off work, who lives in a high crime area with gang violence. Or a senior. So they can protect themselves if someone tries to break into thier house. And sometimes these people get thrown in jail for this.....which is not acceptable by any means. 2A is a right for every American. Not just upper class Americans.

Instead of thinking "Well no shootings in Portugal, but there are shootings in America.....so America should adopt Portugals laws and the violence will cease" why not look at it deeper and consider OTHER differences from an objective stand point?

If someone knows murdering people is illegal but they do it anyway? They are not thwarted or bothered by any gun regulations. It is VERY easy to get illegal black market guns. Very easy. That's why Chicagos criminals are the only ones with guns and why so many people are murdered there on a regular basis.

Today my area
Albany police are investigating a shooting that killed one person and injured six others.
Police say they were called to the 100 block of North Lake Avenue, near Elk Street, for reports of a shooting around 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 29-year-old Alexander Bolton of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Police say Bolton had been shot in the torso. Bolton was taken to Albany Medical Center where he later died.
Shortly after that, Albany Medical Center notified police that six men had entered the emergency room, all with gunshot wounds. The men range in age from 25 to 42 years old.
Police determined the six men had also been shot on North Lake Avenue. All six are expected to survive.
Nearby neighbors say they are concerned about the violence. The gunshots woke up people who live in the neighborhood.
There is no word on any arrests. If you have any information, you are asked to call Albany police.
Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan released the following statement:
"I have been in constant communication with Chief Hawkins throughout the late night and early morning hours. Based on the preliminary investigation, I have the utmost confidence the Albany Police Department will identify those responsible for this brazen act of senseless gun violence, arrest them, and ensure they are held accountable for their callous acts.
In addition to the Police response, our Department of Buildings and Regulatory Compliance issued a Cease and Desist Order this morning to prevent any use of the building, and the building's electricity has been disconnected. We have been citing this building for more than a year and will continue to utilize every tool available to prevent and respond to gun violence."
Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins released the following statement:
