After much thought, we're going to a no political talk message board as of Saturday 1/23.

I agree with the idea that we come to an off-topic message board to escape reality some and not be slammed with the same daily, tiresome, tedious, depressing divisiveness. There are plenty of political message boards out there, but this isn't our specialty.

We'll deal with the stragglers as they occur.

....not criticizing the move, see your point, but anything to replace it with?

The Politics section has only been around a few months. It wont be missed.

My art schools are rusty and are need of repair & have ta come outta hibernation.

That sounds great Joe. I also dabble in art. Some landscapes, portrait, ceramics. It might inspire me to get out the easel again and be a bit more creative again. See...you can do it...politics is shit!

Forums change and evolve over time and no one is forcing anyone to post in the politics subforum so I fail to see how anyone is harmed. I’ve already explained this Einstein. A few members disrupted Bastard Factory with political spamming, so I disrupted their posts with shitting gifs. But I made sure that I could move politics into the sweatshops beforehand by suggestion and a $100.00 donation. I also gave everyone fair warning that I would post shitting gifs if the political spamming continued. All within the rules.
