So here is the pasta maker. One of the gifts Shrek gave me on my birthday a few weeks ago

Here was the dough sheets I was drying

I have better pictures but my....very NOT trafficked 8 year is in them because she has always loved helping me in the kitchen

The pasta went all wrong as I stated but we baked these limes cookies

We cook and bake A LOT over here. I'm pretty blissful though outside of this. We just like it. No delusions!

We do. But they suck and are uncomfortable. We have matching ones at the dining table but the table in the kitchen is where we cook, sit and hang, snack, .ake stuff.

I'm going to be redoing this table and then we will get new chairs.

Considering he owned his house and I was renting... and had his career in NY and I was more mobile (cleaning houses and businesses) and he didn't want me to work while taking care of 5 children.....we decided me going to him was the best way to proceed.

Shrek gave me a pasta maker for my birthday. I already failed horribly on the first try....everything seemed good. I made the pasta dough. Rolled in thin. Hung it. Then put it through the cutter....the noodles stuck together and it just did NOT cook right.

I'll be trying again tomorrow. I'm determined to make homemade pasta.
