Jes came back from a walk.

The sun was actually shining for once, people seemed a lot happier after the torrential rainstorms we typically have in Vancouver at this time of the year. Met a lotta nice dogs along the way. Someone was even showing off their pet rabbits.

Anyway it was a relief ta get outside after all that rain. I'm sure @Flynn knows what I'm talking about since she seems ta live in Oregon.

I've played the piano & the mandolin.

But quite obviously have room for improvement

If I could get at least good enough to play an impressive sounding piece without making any mistakes & sounds like its competently oracceptably played, I'd consider that an achievement

Not sure I'd even bother at this point trying to get good at playing a musical instrument

Seems to take a lifetime.

I've noticed even some musicians playing on street corners who were very good...are also very old.

They were like in their 70s.

So they take a lifetime to get that good & then they croak.

I think it takes a lot longer, more practice and time ta become a competent musician than a competent photographer, videographer or visual artist.

Anyways, I seem to be better at visual arts than music so probably be better if I concentrated my time and efforts at that instead of music. lol.
