This has been a weird day foodwise for me so I may as well kick this thread of with it.

For breakfast which could be anything quite often fruit I put 6 chipolata snausages in the oven at 6am and went to play herowars and promptly forgot about them, I dont usually eat till 8 or later if working. so 6.35 I pulled the burnt offerings out the oven, sliced them in half keeping the less burnt bits and bunged them in a roll with ketchup and a fried egg. Tasted Carbony.

dont usually fuck things up so thought I'd eat hot midday. Cooked a red Thai chicken curry with plain rice. Used chicken thighs used a paste from Sainsburys which was more of a sauce and added half a chopped onion, tin of coconut milk and half a red bell pepper, some chilli flakes some baby sweetcorn sliced down the centre and a tin of baked beans.

Well OK I'm joking about the baked beans, forgot about the lime pickle so will snack some later. It was enough for 2 meals so filled a plastic Chinese take away dish. It was banging!

For tea I cracked open an extra large jar of green olives meaning its salad time and had some of them with small salad and Ham roll with mustard.
By belly is still flipping about from breakfast but a tasty day!

I like the sound of this meal much more than toad in the hole, i reluctantly approve. Youre going to eat pickled limes on their own? I don't know about this. Keep us updated on tomorrow's meals

Use the Maesri brand of curry Thai curry pastes in the little tins. Potent, delicious, not a lot of additives, and reasonably priced. Better than all that "curry simmer sauce" sold in supermarkets.

They do a number of pastes for Thai dishes.

i go to a specialist spice store ever so often, its about 8 miles away so next time i'm in town. Don't know if the UK do that brand. I don't particularly like Thai food but Red Curry is the exception.
