The operating principle I suss out from that is that anchor babies are anchors no longer. Birth tourism denied. If the parents aren't citizens, the baby isn't one, either, born here or not.

I could be wrong on that, but that's the principle I see coming down the line. No more hopping the border to pop out a papoose so you can stay.

Mexicans come here to work and provide for their families...period!

Stfu up with your raciat anchor baby narratives

I don't hate anyone. But laws are laws. If we have to follow 'em, so do you. And if you don't have to follow 'em, neither do we. It's not racist to hold everybody to the same laws. It IS racist to use race to excuse anybody from following the law.

That's what fairness looks like.
Grow up.

As I understand it, Homan is going for a 'they all go' approach, so families with anchor babies will be ejected in toto.
Right. Lots of ICE people are going to be very surprised when that fails miserably. "Just give us 85 billion and we'll be all set"

Let's not even talk about "illegals with guns" with nothing to lose and no state assistance. I doubt seriously ICE people are going to risk their lives and careers over this.

And if they had to stay home, they'd probably have a revolution and burn their corruptocrats to ash, and the drug cartels right along with them. Then Mexico would be a country where they could work and provide for their families in, instead of a country they want to flee from.

Our lax immigrations policies aren't doing anybody a kindness.

Don't look now, but Mexico has largely become a country where they stay home...it all happened while you've sat on your ginormous miserable ass hating on them.

I told you before, this isn't about hate. This is about fairness. Everyone has to follow the law, ethnic or national affiliation notwithstanding.

I hope yous peepul will be drinking heavily tonight.
. Yous seem a little tight, but not in a good way.
I haven't started drinking quite yet, but I've got some wedding cake bud and some amazing hash along with a nice bottle of Legacy and a fifth of gin.

Should be all set.

The problem stems from the Obama Administration stomping all over Arizona for SB1070. That administration set precedent by refusing States' Rights on the issue, which means that the Trump administration can do the same thing.
Wasn't/isn't the law that the Federal Government regulates immigration, Mr Lawful?

Here's a video about Latinos who voted for Trump not fully understanding the implications or consequences of their choice @Lily

Precisely my point. If Arizona isn't allowed to enforce immigration law, then Chicago and California aren't allowed to defy immigration law.

You can't have it both ways.
Okay, so can we throw out your morality argument?
. Saudi Arabia executes people for criticizing the Prince.
Iran imprisons people for violating dress code morality.

Moral and law are not necessarily synonyms or agreed upon by all. Yes...No?

I'm not suggesting that local cops have to do ICE's job. But these "resist" princes are talking about local cops obstructing ICE. That's a different thing.
yeah well that's who they're talking about arresting if they don't "help". That's not obstruction at all.

So are you suddenly throwing out 'moral relativism' now?
Moral and law are not necessarily synonyms or agreed upon by all. Yes...No?
Law and Law absolutely are the same thing, though. And using 'race' as a factor to excuse lawbreaking is... guess what...

Racist.

If a local law enforcement body apprehends an illegal alien, ICE puts a detainer on that individual, then the local law enforcement body releases that individual despite the detainer, then yes, that's obstruction.

I just say in support of Lily's point...then it's YOU who decides what is moral and what not?

..and, being honest, have you never broken a law because you didn't agree with it, and felt morally justified in doing so?

Oh, btw - I'm not making an argument that we should have open borders or shouldn't enforce immigration laws.
I'm just asking that you make a consistent argument based of principle.
I'll leave the open border shit to the radical conservatives like Libertarians.

However in "sanctuary cities" local law enforcement doesn't "apprehend illegal aliens" remember?
