I dance in here.
.....and you know what Bigly? You realize that the same "boss bitch" that comes around here popping that bullshit cashed quite a few alimony checks from the man she didn't need. Took his pension too
hypocrisy at it's finest
I've always said they pop that independence bullshit right up until they are cashing a man's check at the nearest bank and within 30 seconds afterwards they're right back up on that high horse acting like the signature on that check was their own.
Not sure if this is relevant but I was raised in a time when gender roles was very important. Boys played with hot wheels out in the dirt and girls played with their baby dolls and an easy bake oven. Women would stay at home and do all the cooking and cleaning while men went to work and paid all of the bills. Women would actually wear summer dresses instead of dressing like men (nowadays and vice versa). I miss being raised in the 80's and 90's. My aunt and grandmother were very old school and by old school I mean we used a washboard in the bathtub to wash clothes when we didn't have a washer or dryer. We hung our clothes out on a line to dry. Milk was collected from cows and goats and we collected eggs from our chickens. Most of the food we ate was either grown in our garden or raised on our farm. We even made homemade icecream with rock salt and an old ice-cream maker. My aunt used to make cheese from curdling our own milk and my grandmother made rose jelly from roses in our rose garden. Times have changed so much and I appreciate the way I grew up. We weren't poor but we weren't rich. We had everything we needed, though, because we worked together as a family. I miss the good ol' days when we used to drink water from the hose pipe and chase chickens in my aunts yard, lol. I used to help my uncle run barbwire fences and collect manure from the pastures to put in our gardens. I'm such a damn country girl. Can anyone relate to this lifestyle? I wish I could do it all over again....those were the good ol' days.

Since this appears to be an ‘Ask Dove’ thread I was gonna ask @Dove if I should pursue this young woman I met at the dentist’s office today.
She couldn’t have been more than 30. Maybe she was as young as 25. She works there. Anyway she couldn’t stop talking to me about herself. She told her interests. And how she knows how to cook. Evidently she is single cuz she didn’t have an engagement or wedding ring on her finger. But she seemed to like me.
She is not from this country. Told me she is from a republic in the former Ussr . Quite pretty with long black hair. She seemed to wanna get to know me.
So maybe she’s lonely or lookin for a man or I’m that kinda guy who has that effect on young women. I’m still somewhat of a handsome brute.
Thing is she must be half or less than half my age. I dunno maybe she’s getting desperate & her biological clock is ticking. Truth is those kind make me a bit nervous cuz I think they wanna bag a guy so they can get pregnant.
I still like the bachelor life. Still she seems enticing to pursue. It’s tempting tho.
What do you think? Should I pursue this young woman? But Maybe she’d get turned off if she found out how to old I really am. I’ve been told I look 20 years younger than my actual age. So it surprises a lotta ‘‘em later on. I’m the type who doesn’t age fast eh.
Check this story out @Dove !!!!
"I bought rocks yesterday. A 10 or 11 year-old girl stood in front of her apartment with a sign, “Rocks for sale.” My first thought was, “if she’s selling rocks, she must not have much else to sell”.
I got out of my car and went to ask about her rocks. She said she’d been there for 2 hours, but no one had even stopped. And that was after she had already gone door to door trying to sell the rocks. Her sign said that each rock was $5, so I grabbed a $20 bill and handed it to her. She sheepishly responded that she didn’t have change for $20. I told her change was not needed as I was going to buy 4 of her beautiful rocks.
Immediately she started to cry. As tears streamed down her face she told me that her family had a cat, but they didn’t have enough money to take care of it. Her mom said the only way they could keep it was if she earned the money for the cat food. She couldn’t believe I was going to buy 4 rocks, but that with the money she would be able to keep her favorite pet. She thanked me profusely, but the tears had already rewarded me well. As I left, she packed up her table and treasures and went inside. All day I thought about the difference $20 made in her life. I think I’ll keep those rocks forever.
When I had my brain tumor, even a little text message could give me hope to keep fighting. No act of kindness is “little” when you are in need. I wish I could buy rocks everyday."
Thats probably why there was this mass resignation during the pandemic eh @Dove?
People were so fed up with being stepped on by unscrupulius emplyers. So it appeared for a while that the whole society had rebelled against the old norms.
I think many people are still fed up with their employers & not just women eh.
Perfect.
Women who think they are above this, are all pretty miserable and angry and trying hard to convince themselves and eachother they are happy "whole" people.
We arent here to live just for ourselves.
And no woman who stays in the home being the home is a slave or some spineless and powerless servant. The man serves as well and leading is service.
My grandma used to tell me....the man is the head, but the woman is the neck.
You know how much actual power women have? Turning us into men with vaginas and convincing us we need to slave at a job and that family is a burden or weakness is exactly the thinking that strips us of our actual power.
Notice the lib fem platforms of sexual liberation, abortion, and now trans cult ideology all benefit MEN. Women going to work benefits men. And the government....more people to tax and more people to consume.
Not a single motherfucker lays on their death bed wishing they had worked more.
BTW I'm not against women working. I'm against women being forced or coerced to work and having our roles in family shat on and belittling women for not wanting careers.
