Personally, I don't think anyone's PI ever need be posted, or PMs (the P there meaning PRIVATE) shared publicly, or the contents PM'd to other members who were not originally included in the conversation.
I seems to me that the two principals were very wrong in what they did - there should be no excuses made by or for them. JMHO

If we don't have mods patrolling the forum what happens if someone looking to do harm to the community posts cp and nobody is actively looking for it? Who knows how long it could go undetected. Law enforcement doesn't give a fuck how it got posted here. They will shut us down. Respectfully BF, if anything there should be more mods.

Things happen behind the scenes that you don't know about.
The heavy handed mod approach at times has changed a few things and I prefer going back to 'low key'. We're now highly organized, but too tightly wound imo so I've opened the gates. I asked all 3 mods to step down for the sake of the board. Rules still apply.
As for posting a PM... I reciprocated in kind.
Sometimes those gloves will come off.

Forum owners are not responsible for members actions and they will go after the member if reported. As a forum owner I need it stated in the rules at registration whats acceptable. I have to be aware of the complaint/offense and take action. If I dont take action, they could say I condone it. This is all per US law. Ive looked into it. Under 47 USC 230
As for BF 2.0... I was the only rule enforcing mod here for 3 of our 5 yrs.
Nobodies ever done it in my 14 years as admin.
See it, report it.

I rarely get an email when someone donates. I have no idea what people are transacting because its all run by STRIPE... the third largest money service in the US. I see and handle nothing... its true Im in Pennsylvania.
Stripe is all good. Been using it here for years now without an issue or... * drum roll * we wouldn't be using it.
