Last two days on the beautiful Lenapehanna
did not see another human
not even one in a passing canoe.
Just me, the Eagles and Egrets.

How in the hell do you get a fish to bite when it's hot outside....unless you're bottom fishing? I can't catch anything in the midst of the day unless I'm bottom fishing. Catfish LOVE them some chicken liver! Hehehehe

Some friends of mine got a charter out of Middle River, Maryland for fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. They caught some nice stripers. It was a 6 or 7 hour charter but they caught their limit in 3 hours.

This is the smaller one that my buddy caught:

I was offered an invite but I'm not a fisherman and didn't like the idea of going out on a boat. Turns out, it would have been a bad day for me to request off from work. However, the main reason I declined was because of the friend who planned it. Let's call him Putz. He has everything planned but he's always late and never ready. 'Okay, everybody needs to be at my house at 4:45 because we need to get on the boat at 6:00.' My buddy got out of his truck and Putz's brother-in-law was standing in the driveway shaking his head. Putz just woke up. And then, my buddy said that Putz had to wash out his coolers. I had to say <yell/scream> WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT LAST NIGHT! LOL Fucking Putz. I love him but he irritates the hell out of me.

I used to pick em in the redwood forests in N.Cal. Especially good after a forest fire. A nice 1.5 inch fall rain fall you were in business. Porchini, golden and black chanterelles, oysters, and a few others I’m not good enough to identify. My friend Dave that lives in Healdsburg is an expert.
