A clean ocean is the only option. Why do you want to make it political?
You have been having a bit of fun with mindless “politics” of late. Careful that it doesn’t dim your view of life. As per usual I have to sleep as it’s late. Take a different tack for a change...you’re a sailor after all.

What does that even mean.

Dilution is the solution to pollution.

How about being more fucking carful? The fines in the US should be Triple. As I understand the comPanay responsibile was cited for a number of violations before this spill. Their license should be revoked

It is the company's fault some stupid Chinese ship broke their pipe by anchoring in a no anchoring zone? How about going after the Communist Chinese state owned company which actually caused the spill?

Looks like it occurred off the Ca. Coast. The Chinese couldn’t care less. Wasn’t someone monitoring this shit show? It’s as if the whole fiasco is OK with you?

Just in Santa Barbara alone 10,000 barrels a day naturally seeps out of the ocean bed rock into the ocean. Natural gas seepage is probably an order of magnitude higher. When I was there studying geology I saw so many ignorant leftists who kept trying to blame all the tar on the beaches on the oil rigs. The reality is the oil rigs decrease the natural seepage by sucking up oil and natural gas thus helping to lower the reservoir pressure so seepage rates go down.

More oil drilling would mean less natural seepage and thus less natural oil contamination but, no, the environmentalists are totally against that in their ignorance.

The communist Chinese don't give a shit about anything. Never the less their ship and crew caused the damage and that is who should be required to pay. Seize their ships so they are financially impacted.

If true, this sucks too.

It is just like the La Brea tar pits in L.A. but under water. The Gulf coast also if filled with natural oil seeps. I don't remember Lotusbutt making any threads about that though.

OK. In the mean time the N. American company should cough up the fines and clean up.
