hey guise -- cut the keystone pipleline -- you know to save the environment -- you know cause we don't live on the very same sphere that other countries wills destroy with their fossil fuel production -- cause you know paying 4.69 a gallon to fun Putin's war effort is better for the humanities

you fucking liberals are as dumb as a pair of dirty socks

strangle your fucking selves already

Thing is Bigly Canada was willing to give you guys a 30% discount on the oil under or less than Opec Prices. And it was a Liberal govt too as they encouraged the US to approve & build that pipeline.

And we are the ones who voted for that, Joe. We are aware of this. You just preached to the choir again.

Now tell us who squashed that pipeline.

Yeah but I'm not progressive, socialist, social Democrat @Dove y.

My politics are 1970s traditional liberal. So supportive of private enterprise but practical & benefitting as much of the population as possible.

For that reason I didn't agree with the cancellation of the Keystone pipleline. Neither did the political party in Canada who supported it. It was the social progressives in the Democratic party in the US that killed Keystone XL not the moderates.

liberals are to the Democratic party what small c conservatives are to the Republican party. Far right tea party types hijacked the GOP similar to how Progressives did the same to the social economic policies of the US Democratic Party.

Likewise not even the Liberal party in Canada pushed something as divisive as CRT. That alone cost the Democrats the Virginia governor race where they were replaced a moderately conservative Republican

Actually, Liar @Joe, the index can drop but individual stocks can do well.

Sometimes a big drop in one sector will lower the entire index, while other sectors are doing quite well. People not invested in that sector will not be affected.

Do you know what stocks Lokmar owns, Liar @Joe?

I do my damndest to make a difference, every single day. Don't tell me I am not an environmentalist because I don't live in a cave.

I noticed you failed to mention flying from Portugal to the West coast of USA and back for the holidays.

That is more fossil fuel than most people will burn all year.

CRT is not divisive. Cons are making a huge mountain out of the tiniest molehill with their attack on something they are completely ignorant about. I am a professor, Joe. I understand what "theory" means, and why theories are taught. These ignoramuses have no fucking clue what's going on. They just want something to hate, at all times, and all the better for them if it deals with race.

I do not believe any race/ethnicity/religion/nationality/sexual identity makes anyone worse than others or better than others. No one should hate another solely on the basis of any of those things. Period. End of story. Don't even go there with me.

You do not seem to understand that examining average statistics for groups is important to be able to honestly analyze statistics that you present for groups.

"Black people are convicted of violent crime at a disproportionately high rate."

You are okay with that.

But your simple brain just concludes "Systemic racism!!!"

You will not examine how black people having a disproportionately high number of fatherless children might have affected the crime rate.

Here:

"As supported by the data below, children from fatherless homes are more likely to be poor, become involved in drug and alcohol abuse, drop out of school, and suffer from health and emotional problems. Boys are more likely to become involved in crime, and girls are more likely to become pregnant as teens. "

I connect the dots for you.

But next time the subject comes up, there you will be screaming "Systemic racism!!!"

The market might not crash @The Prowler like some pessimists claim, but it might just go sideways for the Greater part of the decade. Still with inflation that means overall returns will be small or non existent.

That's very similar to what occured in the 1970s. Stagflation. There was no spectacular crash but the markets didn't go anywhere either.

I think we're witnessING a repeat of the 1970s.

Actually, Liar @Joe, on any given day in the history of the stock market, it would be correct to say "The market might not crash" just like on any given day in the history of the stock market, it would be correct to say "The market might crash" just like on any given day in the history of the stock market, it would be correct to say "The market might go sideways" just like on any given day in the history of the stock market, it would be correct to say "The market might explode" just like on any given day in the history of the stock market, it would be correct to say "The market might not explode".

Actually, Liar @Joe, people who invest in the stock market own individual stocks, so we are more concerned about what the stocks that we own are doing than what the index is doing. You talk like someone who shoots the shit but is always on the outside looking in, never really understanding what is happening.

Do you know what stocks Lokmar owns, Liar @Joe?

I'm just using the 1970s a reference @The Prowler.

Very similar conditions & even events.

High inflation. Black Swan events. A Cold War between the West & Communist or ex Communist nations. Massive rise in commodity prices as was predicted 2 years ago. Rampant speculation in Real Estate. A substantial rise in the price of gold.

If the economic, political & social trends continue I'd say we are headed for a double dip recession & persistent high inflation - just like the 1970s @The Prowler.

I posted a graph of economic trends in the 1970s. I could post it again if u like. I suspect that's how the remainder of this decade plays out Prowler. History repeating itself. And it won't matter which political parties are in power.

But it provides clues where the investment opportunities will be Prowler.

Commodities and natural resources I suspect.

Yeah but you dont like people accusing you of stuff that isnt true.

CRT is divisive. You are free to just dismiss everyone (since literally even the democrat voters who also dont like it are cons now and it's just these evil dumb cons) as a con looking for stuff to hate. But it makes you everything you just claim we are.

I am tired of being accused of things that are not true about me. You can reference this post any time you feel the urge to accuse me of something. Check here first, to make sure you aren't just making shit up about me. I will add to this thread anytime someone tries to accuse me of something that's straight up bullshit.

1. I do not trust mainstream media. I know they lie daily in order to keep everyone comfortably numb to the activities of the corporate masters. I do not watch CNN or MSNBC or Fox. They are all full of shit. I get my news analysis from people like Chris Hedges, Yanis Varoufakis, and Russel Brand, and occasionally read MSM bullshit so I know what's being said.

2. I am not a Democrat. I left the party in 2016. I wanted to vote for Ralph Nader in 2000, but got suckered into the bullshit "lesser of 2 evils" propaganda. I will never, ever do that again. Nothing will change until it is possible to vote for candidates we truly want, instead of candidates chosen for us by the ruling, corrupt parties.

3. I am not a communist. I am not anti capitalist. But I am anti-toxic capitalism, and all the blowback we see as a result of this insanity. I am a socialist.

4. I am an environmentalist. I also live in the real world. Yes, I need a computer and a car, but I do my damndest to make a difference, every single day. Don't tell me I am not an environmentalist because I don't live in a cave. You are just stupid.

5. I do not believe in war. Fuck every master of the universe who starts a war in order to gain power/control/natural resources. Fuck them to hell and back. Therefore, I am not a cheerleader for Ukraine. I m suspicious of this war.

6. I am pro-workers' rights. If I think a candidate, a law, a party, or a country shits on workers, I am against them, no matter what their party affiliation.

7. I do not believe any race/ethnicity/religion/nationality/sexual identity makes anyone worse than others or better than others. No one should hate another solely on the basis of any of those things. Period. End of story. Don't even go there with me.

If you accuse me of anything else that isn't true, I'll catch you here.

Thanks and good afternoon.

I have known this about you for many years. I sometimes have differences of opinion on one or more of your perspectives. However, I will tell you that watching the events that occurred on January 6th, 2021 made me realize two big things.

One, we are fucked as a country for a long time until people that claim to love this country, love it more than they do their political party and/or affiliations.

Two, that if Americans aren't going to come together, that at least people need to make alliances with those we have more in common than differences.

People have poked fun about my ability to end hostilities with Holliday and Lotus Bud, in particular. I decided when I came here as Lily, that I was no longer looking to feud with the people center left to left for differences in policy. Therefore, those people don't matter. They want to see strife and it has been clear to me for years that those people will do whatever it takes to see those left of center to fight one another. It thrills them. See, we don't goosestep the way do. They think we're weird. I am not feeding into their sociopathic relationship with society.

Now, the fights that we had are akin to the concept of Narcissism of Small Differences. It happens on both sides of the Center. The right has it with the polarization between non-psychotic GOP and the marching band conservatives of Cultish right (aka: Trumpsters).

Lotus, when they put words in your mouth, it's just to aggravate you. It's not personal, they do it to all of us. Then the tack is to scream and cry about how we put words in their mouths. On the very forum where a Neo Confederate put up a thread that says something like "What Liberals Believe". It still makes me smh. They melt when we address their thinking, but they have the gall to tell us what we think and believe.

These are the same horse's asses that don't know their elbow from their earhole. Don't take them at all seriously. No need to worry about what "they" say, it doesn't matter, not here and most certainly not in real life. It's all a troll from anti-social miscreants.

While the Jan 6 riot last year dimmed my view of Trump, it's his vocal support of Vladimir Putin & his invasion of the Ukraine that I thought was the most disturbing. He spoke of thE Ukraine like it's some piece of real estate that Vladimir Putin had a right to carve up.

Like...WTF? !

That's not something a responsible leader says.

Yeah if that's what Trump really believes then he's not fit to be President of the USA & the Free World.

That was so funny.

It is what The Leaker tells herself as she cries herself to sleep.

As she gets into peoples PMs doing nothing but causing strife.

So basically.....the violent ass riots that destroyed communities and got people killed, like Secoriea Turner.....that didnt make her think the country was fuck.

It was another politcal party she hates protesting thr government and a mild riot that made her decide to spew more hate in one direction and less hate in the other.

She definately took public shots at Lotus when she showed up here. All she ever brings is strife.

Then posts a link describing narcissism without a single shred of self awareness.

Spends 14 hours a day here spewing hate. Has for years and years. But it's just us who are troll board socail miscreants.

Of course NONE of that is self righteous and judgemental. Naturally.
