That's funny, red states take more out than they put in when it comes to federal welfare. This is well known.
. Blue states put in more than they take out.
Is this yet another Pickett's Charge on your part? LoLz @ the Atomic Pedro
PS: You could change your name to the Atomic Pickett's Charge, but if you don't people could call you that anyway.
It’s also known that the government funding per capita is higher…..not the overall. Same burden, despite having people to pay for what the federal government required.
Its also known that much of the funding goes to programs that are mandated as far as infrastructure improvements and maintenance.
It’s also known that federal funding statistics include Social Security and healthcare that people have contributed via direct contribution or taxes their entire life. SS is not welfare, but accounts for most of the funding included. Did you notice that?……No, you didn’t.
Did you notice the reference to the things that the bill funded………things federally mandated……..or for basic safety……….no, you did not.
“24-year-old bill that typically pays up to $80 million a year for schools and roads in Oregon along with wildfire prevention and conservation work.”
A very neat way to conflate the issue, but again it falls short, and demonstrates how you are easily led fooled by statistics.
