My mom moved out here a few years ago and she wanted me to take guardianship of her(she has mental/physical issues that are only going to get worse and she absolutely cannot look after herself....she cant even drive to get herself care).

As soon as we moved, Genesee county started getting hit badly.

I know several people who have caught it this time (and mostly nurses)... it seems more contagious but less deadly.

My mother is high risk and this could kill her so I'm glad we moved when we did. She had been staying at our old place with us for several months.

I'll relax more when I can get her vaccinated.

I did vote for Obama in 2008, and i have deeply regretted it. I didnt vote at all in 2012.

2016 I went for Trump, and again in 2020.

I've voted for both parties locally. I more chose based on platforms, not party labels. But after the past 5 years....well since Obama....I cannot ever vote democrat ever again.

Plan a day off after the first dose.....apparently that's when people feel the worst, after the first shot.

I read about how there is concern that people will not come back for the second dose because of how the first one feels.

Honestly it's not a bad thing to feel the immune response after the vaccine, you know it's got a better chance at working because your immune system was excited.

Better than feeling like shit for several weeks! I know a couple people who caught it during the initial wave and they are still having problems.
