That wasn't my post. It was a copy paste of a post by an american trucker who regularly crosses the border between america and canada.
It was deadly accurate POV about why trump lies about everything and has no fucking idea what he's doing running the greatest nation on earth.

I don't feel insulted. When I was in Ireland I always got it wrong talking to people so i have no problem working the kinks out. I do know you aren't Irish, but scottish and they're different but that's what I meant.

Leftists adhere to a dystopian collectivist/statist/marxist and ultimately authoritarian political ideology that subsumes the liberty of the individual to some fairy tale notion of "the common good" that only Leftists can define and only Leftists in power can implement.
The appeal of Leftism is based completely on envy, with the eternal promise to "take from the rich and provide for the poor" once Leftists achieve political power. Political support for Leftists depends upon this base impulse of envy combined with ignorance and stupidity.
The sole and only goal of Leftist political leaders is to achieve Power. Once power is achieved, their only goal is retain and increase their power and all the fairy tales they told the ignorant and stupid about building a better and more equitable society are quickly forgotten.

Arsesuming that leftism is based on a principal that wealth should be a capital expenditure of success, is the only reason the right can claim that fiscal success is the epitome of a life worth leading.
Collectivism and communism always existed within capitalist structures, and institutions, even under right leaning governance. This collective narrative always ensured the rich would become richer, and the poorer, become even more pliable via simple blame shaming.
It was only through industrialisation and unionisation that Marxism became more profligate. Trotskyism is more in line with capitalist (with the red wedge divide the whites), ideology. For white read white and profitable, for red read struggle and the blood lost to gain so very little…in terms of social standing and democratic worth within the confines of a cultural morality.
The ideology you rage against already exists, it is communism for the rich. Why do you think failure’s like Trump and Musk are so prized, while merely parodying success, without the very support from the state you rage against?
You scream into your darkness about the accumulation of power by government Reginald, yet refuse to comprehend that you have voted in a dictator. You will never meaningfully vote again. How much more centralised and corrupt can governance be?

Yeah but they still need a massive reform of the capitalist system @Reggie_Essent .
Even wealthy Capitalists have admitted that much.
Instead of doling out massive tax breaks to the billionaire class aka corporate welfare, I propose a much different approach. Tax them, raise their rates, but then incentivize tax cuts by making the rich work for them. ie double the tax rates but then say they can keep more or most of their money through tax credits if they use their existing pile on public works, infrastructure, education, hospitals, even venture capital funds for budding entrepreneurs. In other words public private partnerships. And this could apply to lower incomes as well whereby these earners become silent Investors and they get tax breaks by investing in similar projects.
2nd thing is encourage wealth creation & more billionaires but force them to cough up most of that fortune to public works projects of their choosing when they die. Reasoning people cant take the money with them when they die so it may as well benefit society. Make the wealth circulate and increase liquidity rather than trap it with too few spenders
3rd thing - discourage land hoarding & tax those who accumulate too much land. Hoarding encourages monopolies which are the antithesis of free market capitalism. I'd give tax free status for the 1st home & vacation home. But anything beyond that gets taxed. And the more homes the higher the tax.
Anyway those are just some ideas to reform capitalism as opposed to destroying it Reggie.

Does no good to encourage massive wealth accumulation if the money gets trapped at the top & doesnt circulate through the economy. Otherwise they may as well bring back the monarchy which existed prior to the French Revolution. Well we all know how that ended. Currently that's where the United States is going. Oligarchs owning everything which will inevitably lead to social unrest & a Civil War in the US

Interestingly massive wealth accumulation isnt even replicated in Nature. The dominant male of a species doesnt hog everything for it/himself
In general they hunt for game which they share with other members of that species.
But certain factions of our human society push this false narrative of 'Survival of the Fittest' and 'Only the Strong Survive' when in Nature if this were truly the Natural order, a species would go extinct because its members would die off through starvation.
But that is the Capitalist model of American Oligarchs who hog everything for themselves in the name if 'Survival of the Fittest' aka Social Darwinism. Then they wonder why a good chunk of American society isnt doing very well
