For me, smoking was what the cool kids did, it was a rebellion. Tell a teen kid don't do that and they surely will find out what you are trying to prevent them from enjoying.

It's not my fault that you feel personally slighted. I have felt that way about smoking for ages. My opinion about smoking has nothing to do with you or anyone in particular at all.

My own son smoked for a couple of years. He knew how I felt about smoking. I expressed my opinion and he acknowledged it.

I didn't "forbid" him. I didn't "punish" him. I simply expressed my thoughts about it.

He quit on his own. I had nothing to do with it, I had no influence. People are free to do what they want with their own bodies.

I simply call smoking what it is, a habit that causes cancer (of many types), heart disease, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and more.

And that is my beef with smoking.

Or get down to Detroit.

Now you can just order it from the dispensary and they'll deliver it right to your house. Edibles. Gummies. Pre rolled joints. There are endless ways to consume the weed now.

I started smoking when I was 14 years old and yes I did it because my grandma, mom, and most of my friends smoked and wanted to feel all sophisticated.

I hate smoking. I quite years ago. So did my man....him and I used to sit out on his back porch drinking beer and just sucking down cigarettes.

He quit because it was turning his blood into jelly. His red blood cells were becoming so thick he had to take several trips to the doctor to literally get bled out.

He just gave up cigars because his blood work was getting icky. He never inhaled them...but they still were causing him issues.
