Slow burn with some good action scenes. I highly recommend. Rotten Tomatoes scores it higher than 90% by the critics, not audience.

Disney Plus, Hulu, Fandango at Home, Prime Video or Apple TV are streaming it.

Thats a red flag. When critic scores diverge from audience it usually means its stuffed full of wokery and the critics are scared of the cancel mob to be honest about it. i check audience rating only

Disney Plus

another red flag.

Watched The Silence, think "A quiet place" but not as good but watchable.

While we are at it I also watched "A quiet place: The first day." Didn't like it much as it had a "Cloverfield" focus in the focus was the character and not the events as they unfolded for the first half of the film and similar but less for the rest.

Apart from that its more of the same and depends how you will handle the directing.

It wasnt good, just to old people being grouchy getting her money back..

Malcolm McDowell made a cameo so it wasnt a total loss

Malcolm no matter what material he has to work with good, bad, or downright shitty really uplifts things very subtly these days but always worth a watch with him. Hope he goes all "Alex" or totally deranged in a high profile movie/part before he passes. A master at his craft deserves one final awesome bow to the world

I've rewatched quite a bit of his, Clockwork Orange, Lucky Man, Class Of 1999 even Caligula XXX off the top of my head..

He's one of my all time favorites but his artistic side seems to cloud his brain when he chooses which movies to star in.. I can tell he must be getting weird privilage behind the scenes to make his decisions..
