What's for Dinner Tonight?

Did a mutt version of chili con carne and rogan josh... minced beef, onions, kidney beans with some Sherwoods simmer sauce. Couldn't find any plain tomato paste mid preparation. Didn't have any yogurt so using a big dollop of coconut cream instead.

Who knows how it will turn out.

There was a vote for basmati and a vote for baked potato, so put the halt to the coconut cream and they can use sour cream with the tators or rice.

Cookie can only dream of spending 50p/ 70p more on vivaldi potatoes, in fact I bet he nicks them out of nearby allotments
ive been eating Jersey Royals for the last month FTR. I see you googled up an image lazy grotbag.

Well at least you didn't call it "buttery mash" so thats something, did you wash it down with Tennents Super?

I didnt Google it, the police sent it to me, they were warning me about you. I've never tasted tenants in my life, beer and lager are disgusting

I made up some bean, jalapenos, and cheese burritos with salsa, avocado, and sour cream on them. I work with a lot of bachelors who shove 20 bucks into the catering/vending fridges every night, and they sit around drooling watching me eat.

I'm an arsehole. What can I say.

Rogan Josh with chicken, potato, and onions on basmati rice. I've got too many jars of Patak's and Sharwoods pastes for various dishes sitting in my pantry for emergencies. I only buy them when they're half off on sale but being mostly tomato based they aren't as shelf stable as other things. Have to cycle through them occasionally. The jar I'm using says it's BBD is December of 2025.

Will probably make some garlic Naan from scratch though. Again, from some flour that needs to be utilized.

Chicken drums and Cajun wedges with medicated gravy

Got a 3 day chili going, ground beef, pork tenderlion ,corn, beer(malt) tomato sauce ,kidney beans and black turtle beans , hot chili pepper sauce, hot chili powder, chili seasoning , honey. also medicated and 4gs CBD

Did you make them or buy frozen ones?
I made them, they're fairly easy. Prep time is maybe 15-20 minutes dicing the Shrimp and red bell pepper and green onion then stirring it all up with a beaten egg, mayo and panko and regular bread crumbs with some Bay Seasoning and black pepper and a little salt, Brushed them with olive oil before baking them, typically they're pan fried, but I wanted to try baking just for thrills.

I'm going ahead with the Borek instead. Bought the puff pastry and 600 grams of minced lamb (beef is boring). First homemade attempt. I've always ordered them from a Croatian or Turkish takeaway joint.

I asked for tuna fish to be made with kewpie mayo and onions for my sandwiches but they could add cheese and grilled for tuna melts for themselves. I baked a couple ears of corn in heavy butter then used the excess butter on steamed broccoli with diced garlic.

Apparently, nobody likes corn on the cob anymore and they will not be incorporating diced raw onions in the tuna. I will have to do it myself.

I need to get a proper tradwife....
